Clarisonic Mia 2

This is a review and first impressions of the Clarisonic Mia 2. Im sure most of you will have heard about this skincare tool but for those of you that haven't I will explain the product and their ethics. Basically the Clarisonic is a Sonic skin cleanser. Basically an electric toothbrush for your face. The brush head vibrates at 300 movements a second to give a deeper cleanse and to gently massage away impurirites trapped within pores. They claim that this product cleans your skin 6x better than using your hands or a cloth. A big statement!
So first of all this product is not a cheap product with the hefty price tag of £125 in the UK. It comes with a 30ml sample of cleanser, a charger, travel case and a sensitive brush head. Another expensive that should be noted is that the brush head should be replaced every 3 months, personally I think that is just to get more money out of you! I have been using mine for  3 months and its exactly the same as the day I bought it. My skin is not great acne prone, combination and dull. So I bought this hoping this would answer all my prayers. Initially I thought the product would work instantly. But obviously I was wrong. I had not change in my skin for 3 weeks. Apart from it appearing smoother. But after 3 weeks my under the skin spots on my chin had disappeared! They had been there for months and I was eager to get rid of them. The spots on my forehead took a little longer. They began to reduce in size and redness. They do sometimes reappear maybe if I haven't had enough water or haven't slept very way but for the most part the look of my skin has improved and even a friend has commented that my skin looks brighter! My mum who is 45 loves it aswell! She has pretty perfect skin and always has done.. Eugh! Annoying! But using it on her skin gives it an instant look of radiance and health. So even if you don't have bad skin it may be something that can give you a quick radiance boost. Although this is an expensive high end, luxury product it wouldn't take many facials to add up to £125 and this product has a 2 year guarantee.

My Skin Transformation

Hey! This is a skin care chat today! About how I changed the appearance and health of my skin. So about a year ago out of the blue my skin started to break out horrendously, for no apparent reason- probably due to hormones as these never cleared up. I tried most "Drugstore" Skincare ranges from Garnier to Clean&Clear. But none of these worked. They dried my skin up and in the long run made them worse. (I know those brands work for some people) So about 6 months passed where I was trying to hide the spots which were predominately on my forehead, with makeup. I was beginning to feel down about my skin and I tried everything to try and help from the inside. I tried drinking more water, eating more fish and avoiding sugar. But again nothing made the spots disappear completely.
For a couple of months I had heard "Beauty Gurus'" Talking about Liz Earle an all natural award winning cleanser and skincare range. So I went to central London into John Lewis and purchased my first bottle of their infamous Cleanse and Polish (A hot cloth cleanser) along with their scrub. After using the cleanser twice a day, everyday and using the peaches and clean mask and LE exfoliator every other day my skin began to clear. Along with a healthy diet, plenty of water and sleep. My skin isn't at all flawless, I still struggle with those pesky chin spots around 'that time' and a few around my forehead. But overall the appearance of my skin has improved greatly. If you are struggling with skin issues whether it be acne, dry skin, dullness maybe give this routine a try!

Macadamia Natural Oil Hair Mask

This is the macadamia hair mask. I purchased this from http://www.buyapowa.com/ a website where you can get products for cheaper! First of all the postage was really quick and the product is 100% genuine. This pot (middle sized one) cost me £12.95 inc postage. Which was a huge reduction as this product is usually around £21 depending on where you purchase it from. On first use I realised this product was unlike anything I had used beforehand. It smelt amazing! Made my hair appear a lighter colour (a light brown to a dark blonde) and detangled and left my hair silky smooth although sometimes a little fly-away. The texture of the mask is a thick cream. You only need a small amount, a little goes a long way!  This mask has had around 14 uses and I have a small amount left in the bottom. I personally think if your hair is colour-treated or in need of a serious moisture hit give this a go. Although the price tag on the high street is quite pricey I believe it is worth the money.

Would I repurchase this product?
Yes I would, it has transformed my hair and made it healthy enough to let it grow 4 inches in 5months.
